Where I can find organic foods?
Is it possible to find hormone-free meat, poultry, fish and dairy products. I naturalest food really possible. Unfortunately I can not go to a farm and raise my own animals and plants, but I want to buy. Does anyone know of a company that sells these products. I do not mean only the hormone. I am also concerned about the cruel treatment of animals. I would say I vegetarian, but I can not do. Please any suggestions. I live in Queens, New York.
the local health food stores, farmers markets are the best places to look. All national supermarket chains now carry a fairly large selection of biological products, but industry USDA organic food is only slightly better than conventional food. local purchase directly from the producer is the best. The food is fresh as can be, and you know you are buying. You can ask the farmers for all types of questions and unlike aa workers producer to the grocery store will know all about the products he / she sells because that person has increased, the harvest and in almost all cases, eating the food they sell. Even better are the smaller farmers organic growth, but are not certified by the USDA, or spraying methods use in http://www.localharvest.org floor there is a farmers market / farm / CSA / Local Food restaurant / food store location near you

Need answers about two dwarf Meyer lemon?
We have two dwarf Meyer Lemon Tree, a plant in the ground and the other on the porch, planted In a large saucepan. The two trees for at least 8 hours in the sun. The tree in the land produces annually about 2-3 lemons. The potted tree product of the same thing. Each year, two trees bloom with many flowers and some lemons. However, many small lemons turn yellow and fall off, leaving only a few lemons that ripen maturity. I requested a special citrus fertilizer yellowing leaves minerals, organic fertilizer, Miracle Grow at different times to correct problems and so far nothing works. Most of the leaves are still yellow and new leaves grow very often. The gardener does not have answers, but here it is said that trees do not die / Can anyone help find the answers here when the trees bear more fruit. Thanks for any help. The trees are in Los Angeles. I'm watering 2-3 times per week from the recommendations of the local nursery.
water usually with a well drained soil. No feet wet .. Sandy, well drained, dry, slightly acidic soil works best. Guard against snails who can eat the shoots and leaves of the Meyer lemon tree. After 3 or Four years in a pot, it is necessary to replace the floor as he runs out of nutrients. You can plant in a larger pot or cut the outer roots with a sharp knife, strong and replant in the same pot but with fresh land. (From the site), I do not know much lemon, but it may be the ground (not really, but the nutrients drain). I have attached a website that can help. It may be simply the genetics of tree. Hope this helps!

Covent Garden Market – where does the food come from?
Is it shipped, flown, UK produced, organic?
I’m sure it’s a combination of all. Is there anyway to find out accurately?
Gemma F- can you be factually more precise?
If you’re talking about the vegetable market CALLED Covent Garden but which is actually at Nine Elms, the produce comes from practically anywhere and everywhere in the world, usually by the quickest route and means.
If you mean the bit opposite the opera house where they have the food markets from time to time, most of that is produced in this country amd brought in to sell at what is little more than a glorified (and expensive!) Farmer’s market!

Should the rules on organic farming be relaxed a little during the recession?
http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/life_and_style/food_and_drink/article5380546.ece
‘Organic farmers have asked the Government for permission to take a “holiday” from strict organic standards in an attempt to survive the recession.
The drastic move by organisations including the Soil Association follows a dip in sales of organic produce and fears for the future of Britain’s 5,000 organic farmers.’
sure, organic farmers do good for the world, health is more important than money. though in this world they appear toweigh equally.

organic food company and local Start-Up?
I am thinking of opening a file and save the meat, as a country market and questioned the feasibility of such an undertaking. The store will sell local and organic products, where available, as well as Free Range Chickens, eggs, meat, etc. Can anyone share similar experiences with this company and if it is profitable.
I'm organic and all natural forms of life. Because that is the case, I know that I have purchased these types of markets, when I can. There are not many places yet, but will transmit it to other markets. I still read the labels of things well, because of certain additives that still I am unable to digest the input and if I can help. CAUTION: A just cause, they say it's organic does not always mean it. Sprays and spraying may still be in food. Yes! Good idea! Good luck!

I am looking in to getting an umbrella cockatoo in a few months?
but I want to get one from a breeder and not from a pet store. Does anyone know of any breeders or any place where I can get an umbrella cockatoo that is near West Valley City, Utah? Also, does anyone know where I can get some good organic food for them for a reasonable price?
Unless you have owned birds before you may want to look into adopting. A cockatoo can live for 50 years and the first 5 to 10 are the years that the bird develops aggression and bad habits. If you adopt a bird they are usually well socialized and around the age of 10 where they have good habits.
Check out this web site and try adopting
